This vintage Star of David pendant is hand painted enamel on copper, with the Hebrew chai at the center inside a wreath of red roses, blue blossoms and green leaves on a white enamel ground. The six points are glossy black, each one finished with fine white scrollwork.

The painting style is believed to be Persian minakari, the centuries-old Iranian craft of painting enamel by hand onto metal and firing it. Judaica made this way is uncommon, which makes it a lovely find for a collector or a meaningful gift for a bat mitzvah, a birthday, or anyone who wears their heritage proudly.

Each star is painted by hand, so the flowers vary slightly from piece to piece, and the one you receive may differ a little from the photos. Vintage condition, with small enamel wear at the points consistent with age. Hangs from an integrated loop at the top point.

https://ladygottrocks.com/products/vintage-persian-style-hand-painted-enamel-star-of-david-chai-pendant-floral-minakari-judaica
