Everything about these earrings says 1990s modernist at its best — the bold sterling scroll top, the faceted crystal spike drop, and three graduating cabochon gemstones lined up like a mini chakra stack. Peridot, amethyst, and citrine in smooth round bezels, each stone a different warm color against the cool brushed silver. At 3 inches long they make an entrance.
The crystal spikes are clear and well-cut with a quality that suggests rock crystal rather than glass, though we haven't lab tested them. Either way the optical clarity is excellent. The scroll tops are substantial and architectural — this is not a delicate earring. It's a confident one. Very much the energy of the decade that gave us both minimalism and maximalism in the same breath.
Condition: Estate excellent. Both stones secure, all bezels intact, no chips or cracks in the crystal. Ear wires functional.
