This one comes with its own paper trail. The enamel dartboard face, done in crisp red, black, and white with two tiny silver darts stuck mid throw, sits inside an ornate scrolled sterling frame, and the reverse is engraved plainly enough to read across the room: Hammersmith L.V. Dart League Winners, Coachmakers Arms, G. Fielder, 1945. The Coachmakers Arms was a real pub on King Street in Hammersmith, so this fob was won, not bought, by an actual darts player at an actual London pub the year the war ended.

Marked "Silver" with an English sterling hallmark on the loop, it measures 1.125 inches across and carries a solid 11 grams, more heft than you'd expect from something this size. The scrollwork around the dartboard face is the kind of Victorian era Art Nouveau detailing you see on watch fobs and sporting medals from this period, worlds away from the flat stamped versions that came later.

A genuinely fun piece for darts players, pub memorabilia collectors, or anyone who wants a small piece of postwar London history. This is a fob and award medal first, and it also wears beautifully on a cord necklace, your choice of color, if you'd rather carry it as a pendant.

Condition: Estate fresh, good condition. Enamel is bright and intact with no chips. Engraving is crisp and fully legible. Loop and bail are secure.
