Every good luck symbol you could ask for, in one pendant. This vintage 1940s four leaf clover in 14K yellow gold carries a horseshoe set with a row of faceted deep red garnets, each held in its own prong in the traditional Bohemian style. Every leaf is finished with a fine brushed texture and engraved scrolling foliage, and a small chased stem curls out at the bottom.
It measures 1 7/16 inches tall including the bail and 15/16 of an inch wide, and weighs 3.9 grams. It's a good solid size for a charm, substantial enough to wear on its own. The bail fits a chain up to 3mm, and it's marked 14K inside a crown, with a maker's mark on the bail. Garnet is January's birthstone, and this makes a natural gift for graduations, new jobs, St. Patrick's Day, or anyone who could use a little extra luck.
Very good vintage condition. All garnets are present and secure, and the engraving is crisp.
