The Liberty Bell cracked in 1835 and has been a symbol of American freedom ever since. This openwork pewter pendant from the 1976 Bicentennial captures it in remarkable detail — the yoke, the clapper, the crack, and "1776" worked right into the design. Fifty years after the Bicentennial and two hundred fifty years after independence, this one hits different.
The shield-form frame gives it real presence, and the pewter has developed a beautiful dark patina that makes every detail pop. This is a substantial pendant, around 2.5 to 3 inches, with the kind of weight and presence you notice when you put it on.
Comes on a cord necklace in your choice of color — just leave a note at checkout with your preference.
