Every inch of this vintage cloisonné brooch is packed with pattern: cobalt and sky blue waves rolling across the body, orange sunbursts, white panels dotted with golden rings, and a curling blue tail that loops back over its own back. Twisted silver wire outlines each section, the classic cloisonné technique where enamel is laid into tiny walled cells and fired.
The design is pure stylized folk art. The bull is stretched long and low with a single upturned horn and a simple blue eye, more mythic than barnyard. At nearly 3 inches long, it reads as a true statement pin on a coat lapel, a scarf, or a denim jacket.
Unmarked sterling silver. In excellent vintage condition, with the enamel bright and intact.
