Two puffy sterling bean forms linked as a dangle, small one on top, larger one swinging below, in that clean organic language that the best Mexican modernist silver does so well. The form is utterly simple and completely confident, no engraving, no stones, just a well-executed shape in high-polish sterling that catches light from every angle. Very much in the tradition of the organic biomorphic designs that came out of Taxco workshops in the late 20th century.
Hallmarked Mexico 925 EEB, a registered Mexican silversmith mark, on the lower bean. The two-piece linked construction gives them movement without being chandelier-dramatic. They sit close to the ear at the top and swing gently at the bottom, which is exactly right for this kind of piece.
Condition: Estate excellent. Both bean forms intact, no dents. Jump ring connections secure and functional. Post backs present.
