The chai, meaning life, is hand cut from copper and kiln fired on both faces, which takes twice the work and means there's no plain back to hide. It measures 1 1/8 by 1 1/8 inches and hangs from a copper jump ring. Mid century enamel studios made plenty of chais, but a fully reversible one with two completely different personalities is the kind you hold onto.
