The design is all geometry and tension — a stepped spiral that winds inward from an angular outer frame, then breaks at the base into a pair of splayed fins that keep the whole thing from reading as static. The high polish finish catches light differently at every angle, which is exactly what you want from a piece this graphic. These are not subtle earrings.
TL-33 is a registered Taxco silversmith mark, confirmed Mexico 925 sterling on the back. Post backs with the clean, secure fit that lets a statement earring actually stay where you put it.
The stepped spiral motif draws from the same pre-Columbian geometric vocabulary that defined the best Taxco modernist work of the mid to late 20th century — angular, bold, and completely of the moment right now.
